Ghostbusters Coming to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood 2019

This morning Universal Studios Hollywood announced that Ghostbusters would be coming to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood 2019 in it’s own stand alone maze. This particular property was heavily speculated by Horror Nights fans all over the community and now we can confirm those speculations to be true. The maze will be maze will be based off the hit 1984 film and is sure to give fans of the event and the movie an amazing experience when they venture into this maze.

The best location for the Ghostbusters maze would be the former Poltergeist location from last years event but that is just our speculation as of right now while we are sure creative director John Murdy will share more info on that topic later on Twitter. Fans of the film will be able to live in the ghost busting fun as they join Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston as they follow in their footsteps on their paranormal adventures encountering creatures like Slimer, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the Library Ghost, and Gozer the Gozerian. The classic film has entertained fans for many years and despite it’s comedy aspects the maze is sure to give guests many scares during Halloween Horror Nights 2019.

Ghostbusters the maze will also feature some of the film’s most iconic scenes and be designed as life like as can be in the maze. The facade for the experience is rumored to be the massive Ghostbusters Headquarters that we see the investigators spending their time in the film. We personally believe that the Ecto 1 which is the investigators paranormal hunting vehicle will be placed either somewhere inside of the maze or parked right outside the facade playing audio from the movie before guests enter the maze itself. For the first time ever the beloved film is getting it’s own maze and we could not be more excited! Universal Studios released an amazing trailer for the new maze for both the Hollywood and Orlando event.

With the already announced Stranger Things, Holidayz in Hell, Frankenstein meets the Wolfman, and Ghostbusters there are still 5 more mazes to be announced making their a total of 9 mazes (not including the Walking Dead Attraction) which is two more then last years event.
