This Saturday September 21st, SeaWorld San Diego will kick off it’s annual Halloween Spooktacular with some spooky fun things to do for all ages. With the returning festivities and even some new ones, SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is a perfect way to get into the Halloween time feel with tons of fun to do. The event runs from this Saturday and then every weekend until it concludes on October 27th, there is so much to do this season so let’s talk about everything that is happening at SeaWorld San Diego’s Halloween Spooktacular 2019.
NEW FOR 2019: Guests can enjoy wine and seasonal beers at the Waterfront while their little ones enjoy some fun through a hay maze or playing some not so spooky games by the bay. Pumpkin pie and S’mores ice cream sandwiches will also be sold to those looking to enjoy sweet treats. There will also be Halloween themed decor all around the waterfront to put guests in the Halloween time feel. Also new for this year is the spooktacular pumpkin hunt where kids can use their special purchased map to find five different animal themed pumpkins that are scattered throughout the park. They can then collect an exclusive pin at the end of their pumpkin hunt!
RETURNING FAVORITES: There will be 10 different trick or treating stations with sweet candy and healthy snacks. Trick or treating starts at 2:30 p.m. and runs until park close. The Sesame Street Halloween Parade also returns with everyone’s favorite Sesame Street characters including Cookie Monster, Elmo. and Bert & Ernie as they celebrate the Halloween time fun. Kids of all ages are invited to dress up and join the spooktacular costume party where they can dance at the underwater themed party. For those thrill seekers, enjoy a ride on ‘Manta Madness’ which is a Halloween overlay to the popular Manta roller coaster that features ghostly effects and creepy sounds in the launch tunnel portion of the ride. Clyde and Seamore are back to their Halloween shenanigans in their show Clyde and Seamore’s Halloween Big Halloween Bash that is located in the Sea Lion and Otter Amphitheater. The celebration of the beautiful Mexican themed holiday Dia De Les Muertos will be celebrated with beautifully dress Catrina statues that will welcome guests as they discover offerings of mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have left us. SeaWorld San Diego will be dressed fully in Halloween themed decorations including an underwater themed pumpkin patch right under the Skytower.
There is tons of stuff to do at SeaWorld San Diego including taking a spin on their brand new dueling coaster ‘Tidal Twister’.
