Snow White’s Scary Adventure Dark Ride to Receive NEW Show Scenes during MAJOR Refurbishment at Disneyland

It is no question that the dark rides in Fantasyland are some of the most loved attractions to this day at Disneyland. With their vintage feel and rather simple ride layouts, these rides make for a perfect way to cool off during the Summer time and typically never have unbearable wait times. That is with the exception of Peter Pan’s Flight of course, but with these vintage attractions comes aging and one ride in particular that needs a little bit of an uplift is Snow White’s Scary Adventure.

Disneyland has currently filed a building permit for a $445,000 refurbishment to the beloved attraction. Disneyland officials have confirmed that this uplift will take place sometime in the year of 2020. The refurbishment will remove and replace various different show scenes and sets. The ride will also be receiving some new support beams as well as some brand new rock work.

This is very exciting news for Disneyland fans as with an almost $500K budget, the dark ride will surely endure some major work with scenes that guests have never scene before. The current squeaking sound of the ride vehicles will also most likely be fixed to make for a more relaxing experience to those who ride the attraction.

New projector platforms have also been included in this permit meaning the ride may receive some upgraded special effects that we see in the more modern attractions that we see in dark rides across all different theme parks. We don’t have a set date of when Snow White will be undergoing this refurbishment but we do know that it will take place sometime in 2020.
