Legoland California in Carlsbad continues to shine with their many different events that they have to offer each and every year. If guests thought that the year of 2019 was a hit at the family park then they are sure to be amazed by everything that has to come in 2020 next year. Between exclusive event days and a brand new highly immersive land set to open in the Spring of next year, Legoland is the perfect place to enjoy a sunny day in Carlsbad.
The Star Wars Miniland Display has been a huge hit at the park since it’s opening, but on January 6th it will be the last day that guests can see the displays such as the massive Death Star and Star Wars Lego models. Although it will be sad to see it go this does mean that Legoland is looking to replace the soon to be vacant land with a brand new experience or display, but that is just speculation until Legoland announces what will actually replace Star Wars.
From February 15-17 and 22-23, guests can enjoy the Lego Ninjago Days based off the popular series. Guests can release their inner ninja while participating in special Ninjago activities and enjoying the immersive 4-D Ninjago show in the theater located just across Miniland U.S.A. For those looking for a little more thrilling fun, board the Lego Ninjago Ride and fire lighting, fireballs, and ice to defeat the Great Devourer.
The highly anticipated LEGO Movie World is also set to open in Spring of 2020. With the success of Florida’s version, Legoland California has decided to build one of their own, but this version will fully immerse guests in the city of Bricksburg with the walls built up taller then the ones in Florida to give fans the illusion that they are actually in the super awesome city! With Master’s of Flight and Unikitty’s Disco Drop, the land will bring two more rides to Legoland California. Fans will also be able to meet all of their favorite characters from the Lego Movie series including Emmet and Wyldstyle. The brand new world is set to open in Spring and construction is already very far ahead in progress in the bottom left corner of the park.
For those who are all about the Lego Movie, The Lego Movie Days that take place from May 30-31 and June 6-7, are the perfect days to attend the theme park.
