Earlier this week, Midsummer Scream was teasing their annual convention for the 2020 season across all of their social media outlets. Yesterday it was announced that pre-sale tickets would be going on sale today March 6th for their convention at the Long Beach Convention Center. Every year they offer horror and Halloween fans a chance to purchase general admission tickets at an extremely discounted price early in the year to get fans excited. Today is the day that the early birds get the worm, or in this case the early boils and ghouls get the tickets.
The ticket prices for general admission are set very low right now at 40% off. Friday (July 31st) admission sits at $30.00, Saturday (August 1st) admission sits at $45.00, and Sunday (August 2nd) admission sits at $35.00 with the full weekend pass priced at $60.00 for every single day of the convention. The Gold Bat Pass is also already for sale and is hands down the most popular purchase for admission every year for Midsummer Scream. For just $125, fans can enjoy admission to all 3 days as well as early entry to the show floor beginning at 10 a.m. each day! Fans also get priority to panels and presentations, front of the line access to select attractions in the Hall of Shadows, collectible lanyard and credential, limited edition gold bat enamel pin, and admission to the after dark party on Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Midsummer Scream is sure to be huge once again at the Long Beach Convention Center as they have maxed out the convention centers 250,000 square feet where they were host 350+ exhibitors. This is the first year that event will have feature 3 days instead of its normal 2 giving guests tons of time to experience everything that Midsummer has to offer! As some early news to get fans excited, they have announced the theme will be “Vintage Halloween” and feature an amazing walkthrough trick or treat experience created by CalHaunts.
With this new theme there will also be some additional panels and presentations all about the history of the spooky holiday “Halloween”. The beautiful vintage artwork was created by Austin Pardun (@austinpardunart on Instagram), and Midsummer will be collaborating with him to showcase some of his artwork for the 2020 convention.
